The Lady in Waiting with Model: Aly Sky

Lady in waiting was a theme based around a spirit who had searched for love in the shadows after her untimely death many centuries ago. Her once beautiful wedding garments, transitioning into a sinister fashion. Showcasing a more less traditional wedding attire. Growing horns that have frayed over the decades. Leaving what we can describe only as a Preying bird, fixated on the dark, covered in the shadows that she walks in.

Our location in Hertfordshire was a man made garden made to look like an 18th century Italian fusion of foliage and architecture expanding over a small area of the open land surrounding it. A gem in the heart of a grand forest. Wonderful structures, beams, pillars and steps. It made for some very dramatic shots as pictured here in these images.

Some of the effects created in these images (such as mist effects, tonings etc) is all done in post with use of pre made pre sets that have been trialed and tested by myself and created. All of these images are with use of natural light only and the editing is minimal.
