Back in October of 2016 I was searching around for conventions of my favorite TV Shows on my phone whilst completely bored out my head at work. Suddenly I come across something very interesting, a major convention with all of the best characters from the show attending for Walker Stalker Con 2017. I was in two minds about purchasing tickets. I knew it would be a mistake to get wrapped up in it all after I have Portrait X and other big projects going on. Reality struck me hard and I knew I would not be able to concentrate on what is needed for those projects if I was to attend this. A week passed I saw that all Saturday tickets were now gone and even some of the stars of show were no longer available. I decided to go for it and think about it later. I purchased the tickets and the main photo op's that I wanted resulting to around £500 worth of tickets for me to print out. Honestly I was ashamed of myself!

Months passed and as the months grew into weeks and then days. I started to become aware as time went on that actually I was about to meet some of my most loved actors from this show and although from experience I knew it was nothing special as you only get seconds with them, I grew more excited. Not just for the actors but for the experiences we were about to encounter. I had previously joined the Walker Stalker Con facebook group and had the pleasure of coming in contact with like minded, genuine fans that had added me into their own groups about meeting up at the venue. Due to this I have met some truly fabulous people and friends.

Down side to the online experience was the inevitable drama's of social media and people unable to just have a nice time or play nice. Eventually this did get out of control and I ended up almost not attending the event. Much to my amazement after endless online abuse, bullying, threats and so much time wasted on issues that were unnecessary, I found a good bunch of people that I could actually say were worthy of my time. In this blog are images Marcus and I took with Ray Buck, Katie Sheddock, Tracey Edwards, Jordan Edwards, Sarah Maddocks, Kate Bronte and more from the event itself using an car parking space near the venue. I am very thankful to these beautiful people for being so generous with their time and so kind to us. After the problems we had this was a breath of fresh air to finally have people who respected us.

We can gladly state that our experience at WSC London was a lot of fun, through the stress of the online arguments it turned out better than we could ever had hoped. Meeting new friends, gaining more contacts and getting to shoot a theme that I have always been interested in was the highlights, even more so than the actors being there. Now we must attend more conventions and I am actually looking forward to it!
